Aaron sighed as he sat down next to the window in the inter-house common room. He was starting to loose his mind and it was irritating him severely. He hadn't seen Dakota Wilder in forever and had no idea as to how she viewed him now. Will she hate me? Still like me? I just don't know. he thought silently as he starred out onto the grounds.

dakota sighed deeply, looking around as she walked slowly through the hallways of the huge castle. she had been doing the homeworks they had during the vacation all morning long. she needed a bit of rest, and she needed to move. she was the type of girl who couldn't stay in place and would probably always be like that. hands in her pockets, she didn't noticed the students she pushed aside, not really caring -as always. only one guy was on her mind right now. aaron. where was he? how had he been since the last time they had seen each other? she looked down at her feet, biting her bottom lip slightly as she continued to push other students aside. maybe he had forgotten about her. he couldn't still be in love with her, could he?
she didn't even notice it when she pushed a door and entered a room which much warmer then the hallways. she looked up and sighed. dakota was in the inter-house common room. and there he was, sitting by the window. she gasped, quickly looking away. she wasn't ready to know if he was still in love with her or not -she had major doubts on the first option. she wasn't ready to hear what he had to tell her. she looked down at her feet, biting her bottom lip once more until she felt his eyes on her. she couldn't help but look up at him. and she was stuck in that position. her body wouldn't move, neither forward, nor backward.

Aaron thought he heard someone gasp and turned to look to see Dakota herself. Timing is perfect for her as always. he thought silently before smiling. "Hey, long time no see." he said, still smiling. He was glad to see her yet wondered if she still liked him. He knew that he still loved her.

his smile was so contagious, she had to admit that. and since she wasn't able to look away from him, she couldn't keep the smile which was spreading now on her lips to herself. it was an awkward smile since she wasn't quite feeling at her place, right now. she would've probably turned around and ran away if she had been able to. but she knew that, even if she tried, she wouldn't succeed in her attempt. she looked at him with wide eyes. she probably looked terrifying, right now, to him. but she didn't quite realize it. she made an attempt to move forward. and, surprisingly, she did move. in a second, she was standing next to aaron.
she quickly passed her arms around his neck, pressing her thin, delicate body against his as she did so. her ear was pressed against his chest and she smiled, more than ever. she could feel the blood quickly coming up to her head, changing the color of the delicate skin covering her cheek bones. she looked up at aaron, still smiling. you can't imagine how much i've missed you. she replied, only in a murmur as she once again laid her head against his chest, her arms still resting peacfully on his shoulders. but then, maybe he would push her back. she didn't want him to. just as suddenly as she had hugged him, she moved away, sighing lightly as she did so.

"I'm gonna guess a lot?" he said with a faint smile. He was subtly caught off guard by her hugging him but he was glad that she did. He missed her hugs and was glad to see her period. I've missed her so much that seeing her feels like a dream for some reason. he thought silently.

dakota stuck her hands in her skinny black jeans pockets, looking up at aaron with the same smile upon her lips. though, now, she was trembling slightly. her body reacted like that when she felt guilty. she didn't really understand why she would have to feel guilty right now. she just... did. maybe it was the fact that they hadn't seen each other in what seemed like years and she thought it was her fault. that actually made some sense, to her. she was the type to accuse herself for any mistake that was made around her. like when her parents had divorced, a few months ago. even though they kept assuring her it really wasn't her fault, she couldn't believe them. it was her fault.
she shook her head slightly when aaron's manly, beautiful voice came up, to get her out of her usual day-dreaming. she nodded to his question. though he probably already knew the answer. if he guessed she had missed him a lot, she guessed he didn't at all. and only to think about it, not even having his words to confirm it to her, she felt pain run through her whole tiny, delicate body as she fell on a chair miraculously placed behind her. her eyes turned to aaron and she shvered slightly. she had to continue on another subject. she was scared that, if they continued on that subject, she would end up crying all the tears she had in her body. what have you been up to, lately, aaron? bad question. she already imagined the answer. 'i didn't think about you at all. i went out with a few girls and actually got a new girlfriend.' she folded her arms over her belly, ignoring the urge she had to shout. she simply stared down, keeping the tears coming up to her eyes for herself.

"Wondering why it took me forever to run into you again. Girls kept coming up to me yet I kept saying no, I'm with someone already." he replied with a smile. He waited on her reaction, knowing that she would be surprised in some shape form or fashion. I love her and I don't want to lose her to anyone. he thought silently.
